Its a big big weekend this time round.
We have two, yes two! shop rides on.
First up Mags is leading out a beginner lever women's specific ride that is open to any women that want to come out for a spin around the more flowy trails in the forest. It will be a nice easy pace with lots of chances to rest and regroup.
Second up, Paul will be leading a advanced level ride out to the gravity trails in the forest so expect a fair bit of climbing and more challenging trails but that also means a lot more descending too!
Both rides are kicking off at 3pm from the main carpark.
Meeting Point: Main car park just off the Buckets Way in the Kiwarrak MTB Park. You can find a map HERE.
Date: Saturday 21/11/20
Time: Rolling out of the car park at 3:00pm sharp
What is an beginner and advanced ride?
Beginner - These ride are for everyone! Whether you are just starting out on your mountain bike path or have been riding for years, these rides are for you! On a beginner ride you will find a fun and supportive environment that is a great way to learn the trails and meet other riders. The pace will be kept social and the trails will flow!! We will come across the occasional tricky bit for you to try out if you would like to but there is no pressure to ride something you are not comfortable with. Rides will typically last around 1 hour but we will adjust to suit the group on the day.
Ride time of around 1-1.5h hours.
Advanced - If you want a challenge and love to push yourself, come along to one of these rides. Most advanced rides will focus more on technical challenges rather than flat out speed. As there will also be more climbing as well, a high level of fitness is required to get the most out of an advanced ride.
Ride time of 2+ hours.
You will need a mtb in good working order, a helmet, enclosed footwear, gloves and plenty of water. Also bring along things you may need to keep you going. For example spare tube, tools, pump, etc.
See you on the trails...!
