About two weeks ago we had an incredible gravel grind organised for a Saturday, only to be thwarted by good ole' Mother Nature and a good spot of rain in the 24 hours leading up to the ride. Unfortunately we had to cancel the ride, but now we're gonna do it again!

There's one big difference though for this ride - we're doing it on SUNDAY! Reason? We've heard some rumours that there's a few roadies who'd love to join us but can't on a Saturday due to club racing commitments. So, after chatting to a couple of the regulars who said that they'd also be able to make Sunday, we've decided to test it out!

It'll be the same start point and route as the previously organised one. Meet at the intersection of Old Bar Rd and Crow's Nest Rd (map link below), ready to ride out at 10AM SHARP!!! We'll wind our way to Saltwater Reserve via the Five Islands Trail and stop for just long enough to mung down on a BYO muesli bar or bag 'o' lollies. Then it's off agan and back to the start point via another route.

Should be ACE! We hope you can join us. Here are all the gory details:

WHEN: Sunday 19th May, roll out of the meeting point at 10 AM SHARP!!!

WHERE: Corner of Old Bar Rd ad Crow's Nest Rd---CLICK FOR MAP

BRING: Bike capable of riding on the gravel, helmet, gloves, glasses, water, nibblies for yourself for our little picnic at Satwater!

SKILL LEVEL: BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE - gentle dirt roads with some climbing (316m total) over 29km return. Ride should take 2.5-3.5 hours.
