With the forests still shut, once again this weeks shop social ride is a gravel/mixed terrain ride.
This week will will head out to do the Mooral Creek loop which is a fantastic ride out along some really nice country roads. There are a couple of bigger hill along the way but also some nice fast downhill sections as well!
We will be meeting on the corner of Mooral Creek Rd and Comboyn Rd.
This ride will be suitable for anyone who a bit of fitness, doesn't mind a bit of climbing and a bike that can ride gravel roads.

Date: Saturday 14/3/20
Time: Rolling out at 3:00pm sharp
Difficulty: 35km with around 600m climbing. Looking to do around a 15-20km average speed.
What is a mixed terrain/gravel ride? Just like it sounds it is a ride on gravel roads!
This ride is for you if you have a bit of fitness behind you and bike that is suitable for gravel roads. During one of these rides you may encounter a variety of surfaces from asphalt to rough gravel roads as well as a little bit of climbing.
Still an easy social pace with plenty of chance to rest and regroup.
Ride time of around 2-3 hours
You will need a bike in good working order, a helmet, enclosed footwear, gloves and plenty of water. Also bring along things you may need to keep you going. For example spare tube, tools, pump, etc.
