Well its been an eventful few weeks of late but finally have time to get back on the bike again!
Not sure where we are riding this week but its sure to be good...
Leaving from the Wynter Tavern at 2pm this week as daylight savings has ended and will end the ride back there with a nice cold drink and maybe a feed.
This ride will be around 30-40km and have around 400m of climbing. Be a mix of sealed and gravel roads, with the possibility of some mud. The ride will be suitable for anyone who has a bit of fitness, and a bike that can ride gravel roads.
Meeting Point: Wynter Tavern
Date: Saturday 10/4/21
Time: Rolling out at 2pm sharp
Difficulty: 30-40km with around 400m climbing. Looking to do around a 15-20km average speed.
What is a mixed terrain/gravel ride? Just like it sounds it is a ride on gravel roads!
This ride is for you if you have a bit of fitness behind you and bike that is suitable for gravel roads. During one of these rides you may encounter a variety of surfaces from asphalt to rough gravel roads and even the odd bit of single track, as well as a little bit of climbing.
Still an easy social pace with plenty of chance to rest and regroup.
Ride time of around 2-3 hours
You will need a bike in good working order, a helmet, enclosed footwear, gloves and plenty of water. Also bring along things you may need to keep you going. For example spare tube, tools, pump, etc.
See you on the trails...
